The effects of the 50% EtOH extract and EtOAc fraction of coffee silverskin in UVB-irradiated HaCaT cells. HaCaT cells were treated with different concentration of the samples in the absence (a) or presence (b and c) of 400 mJ/cm2 UVB. The cytotoxicity was then determined by the MTT assay 24 h after UVB irradiation. The effect of coffee silverskin EtOAc fraction on caspase-3 expression was detected by western blot analysis (d).
