Alginate-based hydrogel is an appropriate platform for the sustained release of dendritic cell Exos (DEXs) into the targeted tissue over 14 days. Near-IR fluorescence indicated that the maximum flux values (a.u.) were high in mice that received DEX-loaded hydrogel compared to the DEX group after 14 days (a-c).
